| Safety | | Rear visibility isn't perfect, so it's important to keep aware of what's around you in traffic. |
| Reliability | | Failed its MOT on the suspension, but that's characteristic of the hard ride. If you use official Ford parts the suspension should be good for up to 5 years. |
| Value | | Excellent value for money. Perhaps not as surefooted as the MINI, but much cheaper and much, much more practical. Not being mistaken for an estate agent an added bonus. |
| Running | | It's a Fiesta underneath so most things are cheap. Returns the quoted 38mpg without effort. Little to go wrong except the suspension, which is what you buy it for, anyway. |
| Problems | General Problems: | Wing mirrors are unique to Puma and aren't sprung, so if hit hard, they'll break. Ford charge a bomb for new ones so best to get one second hand. |
