For the large family on a budget, the Sedona makes huge sense. With reasonable economy from the 2.9-litre turbodiesel engine, acres of space in the cabin and good reliability, there's much to recommend Kia's people carrier. But it's an unsophisticated tool, with a coarse diesel engine and clunky automatic gearbox. For all-round value though, the Sedona is very hard to beat.
